Greedy Geezers

[ Attachment content not displayed ]

Dear Derek;

What could be done is for the "greedy geezers", as you refer to
them, to make absolutely certain that they elect politicians who
love abusing power who will pass tax laws that will suck every drop
of income you make and every penny you could ever hope to save
forcing you to work at three jobs round the clock 24/7 and see to it
that all this money is given to the,"greedy geezers", as you call
them, leaving you to eat garbage can scraps while you live in a
cardboard box placed atop heat vent gratings on a sidewalk.

Dear Derek;

Actually the opinion I sent previously to you is what is known as
twitting or sarcasm or satire. What's your pleasure?

Personally all those programs you mentioned need to be trashed and
the government needs to get its hand out of my and everybody elses
wallets.

If I could I would stop each and everyone with the ring of the
proverbial bell where once rung and all taxes cease completely.

I would cut all the alphabet soup govt agencies and pull the
military back from the 150 bases it occupies around the world sell
all the national parks and federally owned land to private
individuals and sell the TV radio airwave frequencies to the owners
at the highest bid then I'd cut all personal and corporate taxes
inform Congress they weren't needed for the rest of their session
and I'd let them know when they could come back until then keep the
Heck away from Washington.

Then on the 7th day I'd rest.

Yes.

What would you do when the millions, who have been suckered for more
than a century into believing that the "goverment" is responsible
for sustaining them, now destitute of that support because you have
cancelled taxes, take to the streets and start burning buildings
down and killing the "rich"?

Remember that you are no longer able to pay the police and firemen,
because: guess where their pay came from.

Dear Allen;

This is what is known as Anarkos - without a ruler - it will be every man or woman for themselves until the dust settles - Law of The Jungle - Law of The West - Frontier Justice.

Sanity will return slowly but surely.

Look at the Revolutionary War where state governments were not in business and no one suffered because the government was gone. Look at the settlers on those long treks across the Continent with no laws but there own common sense they sure survived.

So I would not be concerned it would mean the end of the stupidos in Congress and their hand in my wallet!!!!!!!!!!

It's a matter of choice, I guess.

Personally, I don't think that getting government's hand out of my
wallet is worth plunging this or any other country into the "Law of
The Jungle - Law of The West - Frontier Justice."

In a culture such as that, the mob is likely to treat your gold as
if it were a big rock and brain you with it. And who will make the
ammunition for your guns?

The settlers, except the very first ones, were aided all along the
way by the settlers who had gone before them, who set up towns and
army posts ( -> government) and decimated the Indians. Many were
motivated by the desire to "homestead" a piece of property, to which
rights were granted by the -> government. And much of the land
itself was purchased by Jefferson ( -> government) just so it could
be expanded into.

First I'v heard, too, that the Revolutionary War was so bloodless
that no one suffered. Maybe that's because a lot of those who
_might_ have suffered chose to be refugees to Canada instead.

Surely libertarian goals are more complex than just getting rid of
taxes and turning to near-anarchy, overnight?

Dear Allen;

Complexity - NOT! No taxes - YES! Anarchy Rules!

First of all having gold might be nice but I'd rather havea greta big old tool box full of solar pwered tools so I can start re-buildin what was once and could be again.

I would not need someone to make ammo for me as I would have enough stockpiled around enough different locations as I'd have enough tro last several lifetimes.

Or - you could make your own - let see that's one part saltpeter to 1 part nitrate to one part carbon or was it???

My reference to Conestaoga wagon settlers were as they travled they did make treaties with the local indian tribes and the settlers and the local tribes did get along. There were numerous instances of this happening.

This continued greed overcame common sense and the white man saw what he wanted and took it. Just like the one time US Senator form California S.I.Hayakaw said, Why should we give it back when we stole it fair and square." when Mr. Sweater Carter handed it back to the Panamanians so Bush 1 could invade and kidnap Noriega for not kow towing to US interests.
