Going to LP national convention in Atlanta?

Message from Libertarian Party of California Secretary Dan Wiener:

Fellow Libertarians:

One of the important tasks we'll be undertaking at the Libertarian
Party state convention in San Jose this weekend is the selection of
delegates to the national convention (which will be held in Atlanta
on May 27-31). The national convention will pick our Presidential
candidate, and California will have by far the largest delegation and
a major voice in choosing the nominee.

For those people who are interested in attending the national
convention as delegates, it is important to add their names to the
list of potential delegates to be voted on this weekend. YOU DON'T
HAVE TO ATTEND THE STATE CONVENTION TO BE ELECTED AS A DELEGATE TO
THE NATIONAL CONVENTION. (Not that I want to discourage anyone from
attending the state convention.) Even those who aren't sure whether
they can make it to Atlanta should consider getting themselves
elected as delegates. California has well over two hundred slots
available.

So if you or anyone you know is the slightest bit interested, please
forward your name or their names to me ASAP. I'll make sure they are
nominated to be delegates even if they don't make it to the state
convention. And it will make my job a lot easier if I get as many
names as possible ahead of time, so I can be compiling the list we'll
be voting on.

Thanks for your help, and I hope I see you in San Jose this weekend.
