I fully agree with your criticism of libertarians on this. Indeed, I think we'd make a stronger case if, rather than denying warming, we agreed it's a serious problem calling for respecting private property rights as the only moral and effective solution.
Unfortunately, the facts may not allow us to do this. (All I can do is raise qs about the putative facts--I'm not trained in the science of climatology.)
