FYI: Americans for Safe Access struggles with the tax man

The state Board of Equalization wants to tax medical marijuana sales without issuing any sales tax permits or otherwise conceding their legality. From a libertarian perspective it would of course be preferable to have no coercive tax on marijuana or other drugs at all, but in the absence of taking such a moral stand, the legal arguments ASA is making on why dispensary sales should not be taxed is still of some interest.
