Assemblymember Phil Ting will be out for a community event in the Sunset this coming Monday. Events like this are a good opportunity to do a bit of lobbying or persuasive speaking in person to other members of the community as well as elected representatives, on behalf of economic freedom, civil liberties, and libertarian solutions. As well as opposing the harmful statist proposals that invariably come up!
This is happening out near Ocean Beach (between 46th and 47th Avenue on Irving), so a bit far afield for me unless I get a ride, but if it’s in your neighborhood or you can make it, I encourage you to go and let us know if anything noteworthy occurs.
