fusion helps us

Hi Chris and All,

Yes, equally strange. Even better than peak oil.

However, please forgive my stream of consciousness. The discussion on cold fusion candidates reminded me of a similar situation coming up for LPSF soon.

Some of us worked like heck on the Ron Paul campaign, knowingly (I hope) contributing to the exodus of Libertarians to the Republican camp. We felt that Ron Paul's economic libertarianism, and his visibility, was an opportunity we could not afford to pass up.

Now, do we continue to support his minions? Even while they run against our own Libertarian candidates? I personally will not. I will show up at the September 4 rally as a regular citizen, not as a member of the LPSF, because the rally is supposed to be for "non intervention", my pet endeavor. And I would encourage anyone else that embraces non-intervention to do the same. Also, before you start drawing signs for/against gosh knows what, visit John Denni's website. I think he is a good man, just not running as a Libertarian.

It was decided as the last LPSF meeting that we would meet at 2pm on September 4 by the Vishnu statue right across the Main Library. Let's do that, and strike a blow, no matter how small, to the busy body habits our out national leaders.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

Marcy
