From Christine Smith: [WITHDRAWAL ANNOUNCEMENT, Liberty Decides '08]

With Christine's withdrawal, there's currently only one candidate still
in the race who scored well on Outright's scorecard, and that's George
Phillies.

If any of the Paul supporters would let me know what tabling
opportunities you're aware of, there are several of us in San Francisco
who would be willing to volunteer for a Phillies table alongside all of
the major-party candidates.

Thanks,

Rob

Hi Rob,

How about every Saturday at the Embarcadero Farmers Market 9 am to 1
pm for starters. I am there most Saturdays; along with the Obama and
Clinton folks. And, the wonderful steel drum musicians, the "Impeach
Aaron Peskin" parrots... The whole scene is a Zen experience, as well
as a testament that We the People are (believe it or not) still in charge.

If you and Brian are supporting George Phillies for president, I don't want to hear any more complaints about Ron Paul's position on immigration! At least not unless you're going to be equal-opportunity about it and ding Phillies at the same time...

How about Kubby?

Unlike Ron Paul, George Phillies supports the Libertarian Party
platform on Immigration, as modified in 2006 in Denver. You and I may
not like the current platform, but George's position is defensible.

Here's the current platform, for reference.

If you see anything that's not consistent between George's website and
the official LP platform, please point it out to me, and I'll
certainly talk to him about it.

Rob

We should have received all of our campaign materials by this
Saturday. Are any permits required? Any registration with the people
who organize the Farmers Market? I assume you're just on the sidewalk
somewhere, and not in the Farmers Market vendor area. Anything else I
need to know to keep from being arrested?

See you Saturday!

Thanks,

Rob

Rob,

I don't think there are any permits or anything involved, it's just out on the sidewalk.
