Free Josh Wolf Coalition Statement for meeting 12/09/06

Hi Justin,

If it is not too late for this request, would it be possible for me to
have just a minute or so at tomorrow's meeting to announce that I have
a copy of the Free Josh Wolf Coalition Statement that people can sign
if they like. After signatures are collected, the petitions will be
sent to Nancy Pelosi and other political representatives.

BTW, the event last night went very well. I would say about 200 or
more in attendance. My daughter and I volunteered at the door and
collected tons of money in donations for Josh's legal defense. People
*do* respond to well-presented causes!

Hi Mike,

Our pleasure!

It is interesting to me, as a payroll service provider, that the
employers I work with are perfectly OK with having to collect
information from their employees (as well as tax money) to give to
the government. Journalists like Josh are trying to prevent the
press from becoming another information-gathering arm for the
government. Of course, Google resisted e-mail service providers from
becoming information gatherers not too long ago. We need more Joshes
and Googles.
