I've been searching YouTube for a really good version of Woody Guthrie's classic "Deportees".
This is the best I've found so far. Anyone who has a social conscience and an ear for music
will prolly be charmed by these
unglamorous old dears who didn't
get through the song without mistakes, but who meant every word. Dolly Parton has recorded
a superior version but it's not
on YouTube. If anyone can send
me the sound file I'll be very
grateful. Enjoy, Dear Hearts.
