Dear Robert Parkhurst;
   
  The problems with the State and its hydra headed leaders was best expressed by Murray Rothbard. I do not know if yoiu are familiar with him but here is a brief treatise he wrote about what the State is and isn't.
   
  Please take the time to read it. You will find it lays a foundation for why Libertarians are Libertarians.
   
  Please understand this is not to single you out but you as well as all Libertarians should re-visit Murray Rothbard and his writings from time to time like about once a month for refreshing.
