A very good article on how property tax breaks created to help farmers who were threatened with rising property values and taxes went awry. The property tax breaks ended up helping developers and large corporations. Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!
Once again it proves special interest laws helps no one - but the politicians - when it comes to tax breaks!
