Dear Everyone;
Yesterdays Examiner had a OP/ED by State Senator Carol Midgen where she said she would introuduce legislation to require employers with 10,000 or more employees to take a minimum of 8% of their total payroll and devote it to healthcare.
This would effect 69 major California employers. This legislation is an obvious take off on the Maryland law requiring the same thing but in Maryland only one employer qualified WAL-MART!!
I wrote an anti-Midgen health law LTE and the Examiner published it with my Libertarian affiliation.
