Hello Ed and Justin,
Since the San Diego and San Francisco county parties have both
expressed interest in setting their own membership dues, I wanted to
draw your attention to Proposal # 12 in the Bylaws Committee's draft
report (see link below). The proposal would essentially decouple
state party membership dues from county party membership dues, and
would let the county parties operate on their own.
We're not yet satisfied with the wording of this proposed amendment,
and Bob Weber is looking for ways to clarify it. I'd be interested in
any suggestions for wording you may have, as well as any other
comments or critiques.
