Discussion of Anthony Gregory's "New Deal Law and Order" on Sept. 19

The trans-partisan discussion group Crossing Party Lines will be hosting a free online discussion of a book by libertarian historian Anthony Gregory on Saturday, September 19, from 2-330pm (Pacific time). More details on how to register and participate to come, at Crossing Party Lines.

“New Deal Law and Order: How the War on Crime Built the Modern Liberal State” is one of a number of pro-freedom books I suggested to them for possible discussion. (I haven’t yet read it myself, but knowing Anthony, a well-read and strongly pro-freedom local who’s spoken to the LPSF in the past, I’m sure it is interesting and worth reading.)

Here is a link to buy the book, for anyone who may be interested:

Folks are also encouraged to ask their local booksellers and libraries to carry this and other libertarian titles.
