Did I imagine Bill Heminger's answer to my Target question at our last meeting?

Didn't he say he disagreed with Dufty holding Target hostage over a
campaign contribution? Here's what he says on his Facebook page:

"Bill Hemenger for District 8 Supervisor -- My support for attracting
businesses to San Francisco comes with the caveat that those
businesses must be responsible corporate neighbors -- including their
respect for the rights of all Americans. The decision by the Target
Corp. not to remedy their donation to the Minnesota Forward PAC, which
openly advocates for the denial of civil rights to gay men and
lesbians, gives me no choice but to withhold support for Target's
establishment of two locations here in San Francisco. In a market
economy, we vote with our dollars. It is the leverage that the
individual holds against often daunting corporate giants. I support
both boycotting Target and denying them the right to set up shop
here."

WTF? "Minnesota Forward PAC, which openly advocates for the denial of
civil rights to gay men and lesbians..." Where did he get that?
Here's their website:

http://www.mnforward.com/issues/

Nothing about gay rights. It's an anti-tax, pro-business
organization. Nothing more. They gave money to the anti-tax-increase
Republican instead of the pro-tax-increase Democrat. That's all.
It's coincidence that the Republican is also against same-sex
marriage, but then so is the Democrat. Again, I say WTF?!?!

Can anyone show me any way in which he differs on the issues from
Dufty? We definitely don't need another Bevan on the Board of
Supervisors.
