I never consented to any search. The police officer said he was going to
bring out the dog if I don't just "confess to the crime." The dog was brought
out and started barking around the trunk. I was handcuffed and taken to jail.
One pound was found which was destined for the Buzz Linhart Medical foundation
in Berkeley. Buzzy, a rock legend, played with Jimi Hendrix and wrote the
hit song "Friends" recorded by Bette Midler, Barry Manilow and Cher. Linhart,
who is in very poor health and confined to a wheel chair, also suffers from
glaucoma.
