That's Art D.A. Tuma, a Sacramento-area Libertarian who has run for office. I think I was on his list some time ago, but didn't find the commentary that compelling to want to continue receiving it. I'm sure if you ask he will take you off.

I've asked to be taken off and hopefully that will be the end of it. I'd like to know how I got on his mailing list though as I don't recall subscribing to it. If he's subscribing people without their consent, then he should stop. Spamming is not only illegal under new state and federal laws, but it's also likely to be very negative in terms of it's PR value for the Libertarian Party and the libertarian cause.
