I am against voting for statists. They see your vote
not as you meant it (for the lesser of the evils), but
rather as a mandate to use force and violence to
impose their own values.

Why not vote for the lesser of two evils (to try to keep the worse one from getting elected) and then publicize your reasons for hesitating to vote for him?
Then he couldn't plausibly claim a mandate.
