DA thoughts?

From our discussions, I get the definite sense that there is not a mandate
for a mayoral recommendation.

However, I did get the sense that there was some sympathy towards a
recommendation for Hallinan for DA. I'd like the ExCom to make a formal
decision, guided by the discussion here. The _SF Bay Guardian_ is doing a
story on Fazio support moving to Hallinan, and I'd like to be able to make
a decision one way or another in time for inclusion in the story.

I would also like any candidates for next year's election to state if they
are endorsing Hallinan or Harris, personally. (Or Gonzalez or Newsom, for
that matter, so I have a record.)

Thanks,
Chris

I'm going to Hallinan if that's where Fazio is going.

I can't get enthusiastic about either mayoral candidate.

I'm going to Hallinan if that's where Fazio is going.

Fazio has made no statement on the DA run-off, nor is he likely to
(according to Parrish). He is comfortable with his staffers moving to
other campaigns (Parrish Spisz was his paid campaign coordinator, and is
now doing the same job for Hallinan).
