Craigslist/immigration LTE

Ha ha ha... No, I do not blame Craigslist for my prosecution by the Fremont Police Department. Actually I am happy and impressed that they continue to maintain their Erotic Services section despite law enforcement targeting users.

BTW I like your immigration letter Ron, except for the part about charging a $2000 fee to enter the country. On a practical level, the coyotes would simply lower their rates and the black market in immigration would continue. On a moral level, people should simply not have to pay in order to exercise basic human rights.

Dear Rob;

Have you tried Craigslist??

Starchild can swear by it - and I really do mean swear by it.

Okay, it's just a 12-week internship for the summer before his final
year of grad school, and it's with one of the least offensive
organizations in the federal government (IMHO), the Government
Accountability Office (GAO). And if it means he can get a job in SF
after graduation, so we don't have to argue over whether we return to
SF, it's worth it to have hubby be a tool of Big Brother.

But here's why I'm posting to LPSF-Activists. The job is in their SF
office, near the Transbay Terminal. And I'm trying to figure out how I
can spend as much of the summer as possible with him. (Beats the heck
out of sweltering through another Boston summer.)

So, to get right down to it, we're looking for a short-term lease of a
small apartment (studio or 1 BR, preferably inexpensive by SF standards)
reasonably close to transit, so that we can each get to our respective
jobs without needing a car. Anyone know of anything opening up? We're
very quiet (except when discussing politics) and good tenants.

Rob
