Hi All,
Aubrey and I did our shifts at the No on I campaign booth at the Castro Street Fair today. Phil Berg stopped by to say hello and stayed a while to talk to some booth visitors. Starchild also stopped by to say hi (he was staffing the Sex Workers' booth).
I had a good time. The crowd was thick, and seemed to have more locals than the Pride Festival. Lots of people stopped by to ask what Prop I was all about. Interestingly, at least during my shift, only one person was in favor of the Moratorium. The other visitors, were undecided or immediately convinced that the Moratorium is a crazy idea.
I still have a few window signs and brochures left on No on I, so if anyone can think of a good opportunity for tabling, please advise!
