Candidate for Governor

Has anyone considered running for Governor? To waive
the filing fee..."Candidates who are registered with
the American Independent, Green, Libertarian, Natural
Law, or Peace and Freedom party may submit petitions
containing valid signatures of at least 10% of the
registered voters of their own party to a maximum of
150 signatures." I think that's a pretty easy target to
reach. Hell, I'll run (though I have no real experience
in politics).

Ned Roscoe, the Libertarian owner of Cigarettes Cheaper!, is running, as
others have pointed out. Roscoe has some statewide political cred already
for sponsoring a ballot initiative to roll back the cigarette tax. It
lost, but garnered a million votes.

Jack Hickey, who is a member of the Sequoia Health Care District, an
elected board in San Mateo County, also intends to run. He has run many
times for local office, though the SHCD is his first victory.
