Dan,

  Perhaps I could have been clearer and selected a better title for my post. When I referred to people in the media "recogniz(ing) what some in the Libertarian Party itself seem to not want to see", I was not referring specifically to Root's trying to act like he's the party chair, but to his being all about promoting Wayne Allyn Root rather than seeking to advance libertarianism. His offering himself up to debate the DNC and RNC chairs, as if he were the LNC chair, is but the most recent manifestation of this.

I changed the title on this thread to better reflect the point I was trying to make, and also discovered and fixed a couple typos -- I referred to "Our party's first candidate, Tony Nathan", which of course should have been "Our party's first VP candidate, Toni Nathan."
