As I see it, this is the best, by far, opportunity to elect a Libertarian
governor. With multiple candidates on the ballot and the one who gets the most
votes wins (no run off)...I could see a candidate with 15 or 20 percent of the
vote win. The major parties will have multiple candidates splitting their power
so a unified Libertarian vote with outreach and a decent campaign we could
take it. Sort of like how Jesse Ventura got to be governor of MN. Someone should
be talking to the national party and push for an all out campaign to win
California! I say blow our wad on commercials and mailings we plan to spend in
2004 here and now! I'm up for the challange.
