Thank you for this important caveat/reminder, which I am passing along to the recipients of my previous message.
We should also keep in mind that failing to disclose information is probably even *more* likely to result in unnecessary misunderstandings than is the disclosure of information which is subject to subsequent correction or is inaccurate in some particulars. Organizational secrecy tends to fuel rumors and mistrust.
