Bradley Manning protest speech up on YouTube / My email to SF Pride

Okay, the video of me speaking yesterday is up on YouTube -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqQnYVdAURc&feature=youtu.be . Took over an hour to upload, for under 6 minutes. Anybody know if that's normal? Probably just my sometimes spotty Internet connection. The sound quality is not the greatest, and you can't hear me at some points due to the wind, but otherwise it's basically all there except for about a second or two at the beginning when I started speaking.

Below is the email I sent to SF Pride. Feel free to copy or plagiarize what I said in your own letters (although if you make what you write at least a *little* different, it may be more effective, so it won't look like a form letter).

Starchild....your questioning how we can demand accountability of government when we can't even demand accountability of our local organizations is spot on.

Mike

It is rumored or reported that Bradley Manning is in jail in solitary.

Is he in or out?

Thank you, Mike. I've increasingly grown to think we must pay more attention to demanding accountability in the organizations that are -- unlike the government -- ours, and practice governance as good as it can be done on a small scale. And recognize that if we don't have accountability, they aren't really ours, and don't really represent us, as the U.S. government isn't and doesn't. If we can achieve truly good and sustainable governance in institutions on a small scale, then we can better figure out how to scale that model up and apply it to large governments. And if it won't scale, then we will perhaps have a better understanding of why big government doesn't work.
