Feh. At least SF's aversion has some justification with that whole
earthquake thing.
But to be fair, Paris does have skyscrapers - they're just exiled to Place
de la Defense, the business section a couple of miles from Place de la
Concorde. (Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Arc de Defense all line
up; it's quite an effect, considering the size of the Arc de Defense to
work at that distance.)
But yeah... silly communists. Success is for free people! (Need more
coffee - that doesn't scan very well.)
