Interesting BBC interview last night with CEO of Timberland, Jeff Schwartz, because of his positioning environmental responsibility as NOT incompatible with the market economy. He said his customers like the environmentally friendly merchandise he sells, which is good for his company's bottom line.
Good to hear Mr. Schwartz perspective, since so often what we hear is that environmental responsibility cannot occur without Big Brother mandating it.
