Bradley Manning is totally in prison in solitary confinement. Stripped naked, his conditions brought civil rights organizations to sue for better conditions. In prison for years now, there has still been no trial.
Someone in the know would need to update the current conditions of pretrial torture.

The Bay Area Reporter \(SF's longtime gay newspaper\) said SF Pride should reinstate Bradley Manning as Grand Marshal\. Not the most inspiring editorial, but at least they came down on the right side of the issue:

They also ran a number of letters on the topic, both pro and con:

Is the Peace & Justice Center planning to have an SF Pride presence or something?

Thanks Mary,
Sorry if I missed a reply.
I'm not sure if there was anything in particular I wanted, except to include you in the conversation. I already appreciate the effort you have made all along. When there is larger group in a conversation, new possibilities present themselves. Maybe ask your network if there any ideas along the lines of this thread.
I went to the protest against the rejection of Bradley Manning as Grand Marshal by the Pride board director. There is a lot of possibility to align a broad coalition.
Since then I've been brainstorming with Mike in Phoenix, Mike in SF and Starchild in SF.
They should get to know, you if they don't already.
