News from the spectacular overlooks of the Bay Area:
I just got off the phone with Cause of Action, the Washingto DC group spearheading the drive for government accountability, sustainable business, and sensibility in the use and disposition of Drakes Bay.
There will be a big event at Lagunitas Brewey in support of this effort and the Oyster Farm, April 1st.
This is a rare opportunity to bridge all of the parties in a singular coalition, against government over-reach, corruption, and environmental cronyism, of such magnitude that it has put Democrats, Tea Party, Libertarians, Republicans, Farm Bureau, Chamber of Commerce, wine industry, restaurant industry, ranchers and city slickers alike...all on the same page with Senator Feinstein...of all people!
Networking opportunities abound in a common goal and other events are planned around the area.
Lets show the unelected government some muscle.
Dianne is planning a statewide/nationwide structure for "phone tsunamis". When we get the info from Cause of Action, detailing the issue, we'll refine it to a few points that speak to the broader issues too. We'll keep you posted.
