Bay Area Civil Liberties Coalition meets TONIGHT (6-8pm, SF main library)

The Bay Area Civil Liberties Coalition meeting is happening tonight in the same 4th floor meeting room where the LPSF normally meets, from 6-8pm. It would be good to have some other (L)ibertarian folks there, hope some of you can make it.

The BACLC is a coalition of groups including the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, Code Pink, Courage to Resist, the Libertarian Party of San Francisco, Media Alliance, Oakland Privacy Working Group, Restore The Fourth (Bay Area chapter), The Libertarian Party of San Francisco, San Francisco 99% Coalition, and World Can’t Wait (see http://bayareacivilliberties.org/?page_id=16 ).

Since the Golden Gate Liberty r3VOLution has not yet joined the BACLC, this is also a good opportunity for GGLR folks to come and meet people and ask questions.

Love & Liberty,

San Francisco and other bay area Libertarians did a magnificent job of turning up for the court hearing this morning in the lawsuit against top-two. The good turnout of Libertarians exceeded the turnout of Greens and also of Peace & Freedom members.
The hearing went badly. Anyone can read about it at Ballot Access News - Edited by Richard Winger It's the top most blog post now, although as time goes on other posts will probably be added above it.
