[baclc] Matt Taibbi (Rolling Stone) - Cops Are Illegitimate

My question is: DAs average a 98-99% conviction rate in all crimes, but one: then average (?) 0% conviction rate. That number baffles me.
I have known DAs to be more relentless, is my point; even just from a pure competitive reputation standpoint, I have seen ADAms left completely despondent after a loss.
So, if I don’t get that from a prosecutor in any case, I consider the other candidate, who may state, “if there’s a problem, I’ll bring the chief up on charges!”
