While I have a lot of sympathy with these kinds of iniatives, I worry
that there are interests in these states who want less federal control;
not out of respect for the constitution but escape what few constraints
it still has on them. In Arizona's case, for example, I worry about
someone like Joe Arpaio with more power than he's already got.
