Hi All! Here's something easy all of us can do to push back against the NDAA. I just spent a few minutes on it myself and called each of the 7 members of the Committee on Public Safety. Could only get through to 4 of them, but did leave messages in support of the measure and asked them to be sure to vote for it. (Voice mail boxes for Skinner, Waldron, and Mitchell were all full, so couldn't leave messages for them. Will try again on Monday.) The recent resolution by our Board of Supervisors was a great symbolic measure, and this measure goes further by putting some teeth in it. Please help to send the feds a message by calling these Assembly folks to ensure they vote YES for our civil liberties.
