To be honest with you, I'm not sure this is the best way to do libertarian outreach -- aren't you concerned that people will think libertarian ideas presented in this context, well, foolish? But an April 1 expedition where we pretended to be politicians as part of the St. Stupid's Day Parade (see http://saintstupid.com/event.html#parade-2010, http://laughingsquid.com/31st-annual-saint-stupids-day-parade-on-april-1st-in-san-francisco/) could be fun and productive. Dress up in suits and talk about the need to tax people in order to create jobs, increase the debt in order to invest in the future, etc. What do you think?
