One of the charitable things I do every year to help dispel the myths that
Libertarians are uncompassionate and that private charities cannot make a
difference is help raise money for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation by
participating in the AIDS Walk.
This year, I'm the captain of my company's team (Team Vintara), so, unlike the
previous two years when I participated, I'm now contacting fellow
Libertarians.
We've lost many of our team members to layoffs, so I've decided to recruit
team members from outside. (And if I'm one of the future layoffs, I'll be
happy to organize a Libertarian AIDS Walk team next year.) If you're
interested in participating in the AIDS Walk on July 20 in Golden Gate Park to
raise money for HIV/AIDS research, prevention, and services, please consider
joining Team Vintara (#8428).
If you won't be able to walk this year, or if you've already joined another
team, please consider sponsoring me as a walker. (We can exchange
sponsorships as well, if you'd like.)
To do either, please just follow the link below. To join the team, click on
"Join My Team" at the top of the page. To donate, please fill out the form.

Thank you, in advance, for helping Team Vintara break its previous fundraising
record and for demonstrating that we Libertarians really are generous people.
