Nearing the end of a wonderful summer. My funny (and unvarnished) family tales began the season with a warm reception at the Orlando Fringe, then another at St. Scholastica in Duluth, and on to a variety of performance evenings in the Bay area. (Sometimes I'm still surprised to realize that by now I have lived in Oakland longer than anywhere else.) In between and along the way we enjoyed beauty, family gatherings and good company in my freshwater heartland of Wisconsin and Minnesota, along with some fine music, local blueberries, and Kopp's frozen custard.
Coming in a mere 3 weeks, my Marsh Rising on the actual autumn equinox, September 21st. One night only for rising talent at The Marsh. Come see the full one hour performance of NICE IS NOT WHAT WE DO at The Marsh in San Francisco, 1062 Valencia Street, near the 24th and Mission BART station.
Doors open at 7 pm and the show begins at 7:30 pm. Tickets $10-$15 sliding scale.
