Website idea

While reading yet another article about a screwed-up city agency (the Juvenile Probation Department in this case), it occurred to me that it would be great to have a website, or section of the LPSF website, that provided data, department by department, from a libertarian point of view. Then any time one of us found something in the media related to a particular agency or department, we could post it to the page for that department.

A resource like this could be particularly handy for Libertarian candidates, or people writing ballot arguments, and might be of interest to the general public as well. Once a number of stories had been linked to a page, activists could distill the important information from those stories and put it into a chronological summary.

For example, the page for the Department of Unnecessary Bloat might have linked entries like this:

Sounds good to me. Are you willing to do the initial research? E.g., what
are the departments, their current budgets, and directors? I am willing to
post the pages if you can prepare the info.
