Dennis Kucinich, former 8-term Congressman and well-known advocate for peace, has committed to speak at an event organized by The War & Law League which will take place on Sunday, October 19, 2014, 3:00 pm, Women's Building, 3543 18th St, San Francisco. The event is called "An Urgent Meeting of Peace-makers." The main objective is to weigh in as to "What we the people can do for peace." In other words, imagine Peace and work towards that ideal. The event is totally free to the public.
The War & Law League has been working very hard for several months to make this event a reality. Other groups, including the Libertarian Party of San Francisco, are members of a coalition presenting this event. The coalition is entrusted with raising funds and publicizing the event.
