Walter Block Speaker Event at UC Berkeley

REMEMBER, REMEMBER THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER!

In the true spirit of Guy Fawks Day, Students for Liberty is hosting an anarchist on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH from 8-9:30 PM at 20 BARROWS HALL at UC BERKELEY. Walter Block, the distinguished political theorist, professor, and Harold E. Wirth Endowed Chair in Economics at Layola University, will speak to Students for Liberty about issues of advanced libertarianism– namely, roads, immigration, the environment, and the military. Professor Block has written extensively about such subjects, specifically in his books "The Privatization of Roads and Highways" and "Economics and the Environment: A Reconciliation."

As a personal acquaintance of libertarian giants like Ayn Rand, Murray Rothbard, and Lew Rockwell, Professor Block is one of the biggest names in the liberty movement today. Students for Liberty is honored to host him and looks forward to an entertaining lecture.

As always, everyone is invited and encouraged to attend, regardless of political orientation or student status. We wholeheartedly welcome everyone to engage in the conversation of liberty! I certainly hope to see some of you Bay Area libertarians at this exciting event! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
Casey Given
President
Students for Liberty, UC Berkeley
