I stopped by the American Red Cross this morning. If you are willing to
go to the disaster area, you should be aware that there�s a pretty long
lead time, since they�re already flooded (sorry) with volunteers. You can
stop by and put your name on a list, though.
What they really need right now are call center workers to help handle all
the volunteer offers. I�m putting together a team of four to work in SF
tomorrow, 12�4. If you want to be part of that team, please let me know;
I am contacting a few different groups, but will give preference to
Libertarians for that one.
Oakland may need help this weekend as well. Let me know if you want to
help with that, as well.
