Tuesday April 15 Tax Day Protest 3 to 8 p.m.

This year, the Libertarian Party of San Francisco will be protesting outside
the Montgomery Street BART/Muni station, where the IRS will have their usual
"service" table. From 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., we'll be on the sidewalk on the north
side of Market Street, at the western corner of Montgomery Street, where the
stone steps and metal fence surround a little shopping area and entrance to
BART.

Although other Libertarian groups in the Bay Area have their own protests, you
may be too busy to attend your local event. But if you work in downtown San
Francisco, like many EBLP, LPSM, and other groups' members, you should
consider joining us for an hour or two after work. You don't have to drive
out of your way, and we're finishing up before dark (so you can be home in
time for dinner, or even go on to the other groups' events at post offices
leading up to midnight).

If you're volunteering to help with the start of the protest at 3:00, please
try to show up a little early help carry signs and banners from my apartment.
I'm in The Paramount at 680 Mission Street, Apartment 25K (at Third and
Mission -- just a block away). At 2:55, if nobody has shown up yet to help
me, I'll carry whatever I can to the protest site (which means fewer signs at
the protest and/or multiple trips from my apartment, so please don't be late).

Thanks!

Rob
LPSF Vice-Chair

P.S. Though we won't have amplified sound and therefore don't require a
permit, we have informed the SFPD's Field Operations Bureau that we'll be
there, so we won't have to worry about any run-ins with war-protest-weary
cops.
