Well, if his sermons, advice to congregants, and other actions in his church role are in accord with libertarianism, that’s certainly helpful to the cause of freedom in this earthly realm whose existence is scientifically verified and not in dispute. Otherwise, it’s hard to see how being “on our side politically” means anything, if he won’t take any political action (even the simple act of voting).

Many Libertarians don’t vote because;
A. Voting for the Lesser of Two Evils & Even a Libertarian-Lite candidate compromises Our values & disgusts Us ad nauseam.
B. The #ISgovt is completely hopelessly corrupt from top to bottom & the ONLY fix is to — as The Founders Advised & demonstrated by example — ABOLISH it.
C. The Elections are rigged — as was demonstrated in both Ron Paul’s & Gary Johnson’s most recent campaigns & My own in 2018 for DC Mayor when The Washington Post, which featured a homeless vagrant candidate TO EDUCATE VOTERS OF THEIR OPTIONS in the D Primary, but refused to run more than half a sentence on the Libertairian & Green/D-Light candidate who secured November ballot positions in April — out of FEAR of exposing the incumbent’s monumental tragic fatal flaws & corruption — TOP TO BOTTOM.

The point is that the time to build big tent libertarianism is now. The LP has functioned poorly over the last 50 years to the point of being currently bankrupt. It will literally die if it functions the same way as it has over the last 50 years.
