This is what the police -state is doing to liberty in America. Note that they all know what happening but they have been conditioned to a certain behavior and know of no other way to act.

Your link is broken, I hope the list I posted below works. Interestingly I just got this article from a friend. My friend did not offer an opinion, but somehow I sensed.."you crazy Libertarians..." I told him that police are abysmally untrained in Constitutional rights and receive instructions that are equally abysmal. But, you know what, they get zero push back from most people, so what is the obvious result?

Taxpayers would foot the bill.
The agencies themselves wouldn't pay anything.
If the employees had to take a pay cut, then we might see some changes.
If the taxpayers are funding the the mischief that deprives me of my rights, I'm in favor their paying for the damages. That way they are not getting away with doing damage for free. And I'm am compensated for my losses.
Perhaps then, the taxpayers would be more responsible in the supervision of their agencies. Maybe then, some scumbags would start getting fired. But so long as the taxpayers can get stuff for free, there will be no change.
