The Perfect Teacher/The problem with Public Education

Hi all, unless public education is controlled at the local level (and some few
rich districts do that) it becomes an abusive monopoly run by the Teachers'
Union. The answer to monopoly is competition. We should support a freer and
freer market in education, starting with vouchers/scholarships paid with tax
money to tax credits for private and home schooling looking to total
privatization. One can make a case for tax subsidization of the eduation of the
young of the very poor, but even that can be left to private means. Public
education has failed. Private education succeeds.
