The mason dixon line

Todays correspondence has woken me up. It is amazing how the divide in our tiny party corresponds so well to the long standing divide in our city ., with twin peaks being the Mason Dixon line.
Travelling on muni from Castro to West Portal is like taking I95 from Massachusetts to Alabama. ( well sorta, the simile doesn't exactly agree with the geography.

One thing we can all agree on is that we have Aubrey to bridge the divide.

and sorry the defacto ambulance wasn't white, visualy impaired has it's problems, but the view from the 50mm cannon video cam was the same view the commanders offsite were working with, so anyone seeing that video was as much there as the good patriots calling the shots, literally.

A while back I was waiting in a Bar in atlanta for a plane.

I struck up a conversation with the man next to me.

Like almost everyone I meet, myself included, he was on the tit, working for the contractor who makes the gun sights for the BlackHawk 50mm cannons.

This naturally vrought up the Manning video.

He said that the video was terrific. Great for business.

Love your post, Phil. I will tell my story again. A while back I was riding on the Fillmore bus, which traveled through the Western Addition all the way to the Marina. A fancy-looking tourist got on at a stop after the Western Addition, and was so amazed at the beauty of the neighborhood and the view. He said to the bus driver (who happened to be black), "Oh, you are lucky to have such a wonderful bus route!" To his credit, the bus driver, just said "Yup." Talk about divide; it is everywhere! Our esteemed group included.
