It is a great book. I have a copy, and have recommended it to anyone who will listen.
I think the points he makes about how war is linked to the FED are very telling. I think a lot of anti-intervention and anti-war libertarians would be a lot more interested in that dry stuff about money if they really believed in the connection between inflation and war.
Agreed, that the conspiracy stuff is a little heavy for someone not prepared to receive it. And, perhaps the CFR, Trilateral Commission, and Fabians are given more credit than they are due. I think he makes a good point that (paraphrasing) "everything important in history happened as the result of a conspiracy." The successful ones, that is.
