Thanks, David! AD 13 candidacy much easier now.

Rob, I am still stuck in sSilver Spring, Is there anyway that I cna get the necessary paper work done long distance. It would a shame to have the slot unfilled

Phil

Phil is planning to overnight me the letter needed to get his
declaration of candidacy form. I'll go to City Hall on Wednesday,
assuming the overnight letter arrives in time. If someone steps
forward to run for AD 13, we can collect her/his papers at that same
time. Just please contact me ASAP if you're interested.

Also, what does everyone think about having a signature gathering
social on Tuesday night the 19th? We can get all of our candidates to
show up (or send someone with their petition), get a bunch of
Libertarian signatures, and turn in the "in-lieu" signatures by the
21st to reduce the filing fee (by about $10/signature in most cases).
These signatures also count toward the 60 nomination signatures
required by March 7.

Would people be willing to show up in a central location the night of
Tuesday, Feb 19, to sign our five candidates' petitions?

With David's approval, I'd like to direct his generous pledge of

$300 in

filing fees entirely to the one slot we still have open -- AD 13.

This means that, if you go get your signature-in-lieu papers tomorrow
and collect signatures this week (I believe only 30 are necessary, if
they're worth $10 each), and turn them in before the February 21
deadline, your entire remaining filing fees will be entirely

covered by

I'm in if early enough and can run in, sign and split.

Mike

Rob,

I may not be able to attend a social, but will definitely show up for
signing.

You might want to have some voter registration cards on hand too!!
