This piece offers a nice polling snapshot of Tea Party activists, and shows there are both strong conservative elements and strong libertarian elements in the movement.

Enjoyed reading this. Thank you. It is interesting to view these polls results; but equally interesting to catch the bias! Salient example: Asking on a scale of bla to bla how angry are you about the national debt, high taxes, and same-sex marriages.
I like the idea of pointing out the differences in the Ron Paul vs. Sarah Palin Tea Party following. Now we Libertarians need to keep pointing out where we agree with both camps, as well as where we differ.
