Steve Kubby update - 3/13/06 - Mailing list request

A word of advice...

Never actually give your mailing list to a partisan. If you decide to allow someone to rent your list, you should do the mailing for them, or through a trusted third party.

Rich

Richard,

  You have introduced the language of allowing someone to "rent" a list into the conversation; are you suggesting we should charge the Kubbys for the use of the list? As far as doing the mailing through a "trusted third party," is there some reason we should not trust Steve and Michele? And what do you mean by "partisan" in this context?

Yours in liberty,

Dear Justin;

While it would be an executice committee decision I believe it could be handled by LPSF including a special one page color circular within the newsletter or as an attachment.

This way you do provide a needed highlighted call for help but with some sensitivity to proprietory material. If it needs a vote I would vote for that instead of handing out the mailing list.

On that note was their a newsletter sent out this year at all??? I vaguely ( ???) remember receiving one(???) but have more been sent this year???

Alternatively we could include a note in our newsletter. I'm somewhat
uncomfort able myself giving out our mailing list to anyone, even
someone we strongly support.
